It turned out that I scored 512 on the actual test on. I had scored exactly 513’s on four exams in a row (which is a very good score, but I felt very drained since it never increased). I started studying for the test during summer and I felt extremely burnt out at the end (around August). The actual MCAT matched my FL scores nearly perfectly. Long story short, my experiences have told me that the FL’s match the actual test score pretty decently-even if you have taken the FL’s a few months back. It didn’t feel real after opening the score report since I had only scored over 520 once. This time () I took the exam and got a 521. I remember vividly that I got 522 on my last FL 4 days before the actual exam. I started scoring 516–518’s on most of them. Anyway, I reread basically all the Kaplan books (and did a lot more-pm me for details) and retook the FLs that I did before. I really did think that I did not utilize my full potential so I continued studying after getting my score back (looking back, this pretty risky since your chances of increasing your score is pretty low especially after doing well the first time). I understand if you feel bummed out if you just took the exam, but I guess that there is solace in the belief that your real exam would probably match your most recent FL score □. I thought I did 515 or perhaps even worse. I want to start by saying that I felt extremely uncomfortable and nearly canceled my test which I ended up scoring 521 on this January. /r/GAMSAT - Australian & UK Medical school Admission Test.P/S = Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior (Tentative) AAMC Sample FL Score ConversionĬ/P = Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological SystemsĬARS = Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skillsī/B = Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems # Correct -> Scaled Score Converter for AAMC Material These posts will be removed and the user banned without warning, subject to the discretion of the mod team Learn MoreĪll of the above rules are subject to moderator discretion High Yield MCAT Links You have signed an examinee agreement, and it will be enforced on this subreddit.ĭo not intentionally advertise paid or free products or services of any sort.
